reasons. One question would be:
Is my leadership style effective during a pandemic,
disruption, or crisis? The answer:
Authentic Transformational Leaders are made for/from
times of uncertainty.

COURSE DESCRIPTION:
In this course leaders will be taught how the
transformational leadership model evolved from other
leadership models and theories. Historical and current
transformational leaders and their behaviors are
examined, along with their effects on their followers,
employees, and on society. Leaders will learn the
difference between change and transformation, how
learning leaders use knowledge, collaboration, and
accountability to transform themselves and their
followers. Additionally, leaders will assess their own
leadership style/behavior in view of the authentic
transformational leadership model. Topics such as
global crises, political and social unrest, and disruption
are examined in the content of transformational
leadership.

COURSE OBJECTIVES:
  1. Compare and contrast change and transformation
  2. Discuss the history of transformational leadership
  3. Review the Transformational Leadership model
  4. Identify the behavior that characterizes each
    leadership type
  5. Identify which behavior is conducive to
    stakeholder engagement
  6. Review current and historical transformational
    leaders and the effect on followers, employees,
    society
  7. Discuss transformational leadership effects on
    global crises, social and political unrest and
    disruption
  8. Discuss how transformational leaders effectively
    use knowledge, collaboration, accountability, and
    learning to future proof their organizations
  9. Prescriptively lead organizational change
  10. Assess individual leadership style and how to
    enhance it with transformational leadership
    practices
